Spring Break, 2007

Like thousands of other kids, we headed for the beach for Spring Break, 2007. As friends of Mar Mar know, BET did NOT decide to host it's "Spring Bling" on the cold, windy, rainy Oregon Coast this year! Actually, we had quite a bit of sun, quite a bit of fleece and just a little drizzle. We went to see the "octopus tree" which the girls were afraid of!! Yes, it's an actual tree. Don't turn around girls- IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!! We rented a cute house in Manzanita, a little 'we were hippies and now we have tons of money' town with nice shops and restaurants. Then we left snobby and went crabbing down the road. Crabbing was a trip. There were crazy characters on that pier, kissing sea lions, hipsters playing their guitars, plenty o' rednecks with all their kids, a super nice asian guy who helped us a lot then, oops, tried to get Kevin to go to his church...then there were the crabs!! It was really fun.

Paigey's 3rd Birthday!

Paigey turned 3 this year and now tells folks who ask her when her birthday is, "oh, leap year day". For her birthday, she had 12 of her closest prince and princess friends come to her dance lessons studio for her own Paigey Princess Party. Her and PJ's dance instructor, Miss Lisa, taught the kids a routine, they took a break for pizza and cake, then they all changed into costumes and the parents came back from Starbucks or wherever and watched their show for the last 15-20 minutes. In the last picture, they are waiting for the parents to get settled so they can start the show. Well, and Prince Andrew is kissing his sister, Snow White. It was so cute and Paige loved being the star of the show.
