Meet Patty!!!

Patty is a very energenic, vivacous girl. She just about chewed her way free in the car on the way home, she has completely rearranged her condo every day, she makes definite eye contact and can carry around the entire contents of our house in her cheeks. She is a "Teddy Bear" hamster, so she is larger, but she is also an eating (and pooping) machine. Who knows how big she'll get??!! PJ took the close up picture of Patty alone. I also attached a picture of her on the hamster wheel so you can see what a big little rodent she is, plus, she has the driest tail in the house. I'm taking no chances.

RIP

Our sweet, poor Rosie died of "Wet Tail". Although we only had her 5 days, we all loved her dearly and miss her so much. No flowers, please. You may send contributions in her name to the Wet Tail Hamster Foundation.

Summer happenings

I decided to post a couple pictures from the summer and a picture of the girls on their first day of school. PJ is starting first grade and Paigey is starting preschool. I didn't realize until I looked at their last year first day of school post that Paige wore the same dress for her first day of school last year. The face painting was done by a New Orleans artisit turned face painter at a festival we were at downtown. She did them in about 2 minutes. Now all other face painting pales in comparison...

New Girl in the Family!!

I am going to skip the daunting task of catching up, and just introduce everyone to our new baby girl Rosie! PJ got her on Sunday and she is adjusting well. She is so cute and sweet.
