It's Ben Bostrom!! In person!!

I must admit, I only know who Ben B. is because there is a poster of him in my 6 year old nephew's bedroom. Because my sister's family is totally into motorcycle racing, I decided to go to the party/opening of the Ducati store here in Portland because Ben was going to be there. They were excited and I thought I'd get some autographs. You can't tell from this horrific picture, but Ben is Brad Pitt hot and I made all the bike-girl groupies so jealous with my prepped by Jerry inside scoop. Example - "How's your hip after getting high-sided?" I have no idea what that means or what happened, but I talked to him for about 10 minutes! I had all sorts of nuggets like this. His staff were running around looking for a part of a wrecked Ducati that he could sign for Seamus. Since it was an opening, there were no wrecked pieces laying around yet, but they kept saying, "we wish we knew you were coming." I can't tell you how sweet and awesome this guy is - and did I mention how beautiful he is?

Kelley, I had no clue who Ben B. was. Before reading your message, I thought he might be a member of a new Boy Band. He is a hunk! Glad you liked Kevin's dancing revue picture.

Love, Nana

Motorcycle crashes are usually of two types: lowsides and highsides. A lowside is when the motorcycle falls onto the side closest to the ground; a highside is when a motorcycle flips in the opposite direction of the turn and often sends the rider up into the air.

Well, I saw Ben B. racing this weekend at Mid-Ohio sports car course, and guess what? He high-sided again, this time in turn 3! Bummer. On the bright side, it appears he took out Jamie Hacking while "Highsiding".
